LEADERSHIP AT CAMP KRISHNA

JUNIOR LEADERS (AGES 15-16)

The Junior Leaders Program focuses on foundational leadership skills, emphasizing self-awareness, effective communication, and teamwork based on ideas from the Bhagavad Gita. Participants engage in interactive workshops, group activities, and mentorship sessions designed to build confidence and foster a sense of responsibility. The curriculum introduces the teachings of Krishna and other ancient Indian spiritual giants like Buddha, Mahavira, and more modern examples like Mahatma Gandhi, BR Ambedkar, the Dalai Lama, among others to encourage participants to reflect on their principles and apply them in life.

SENIOR LEADERS (AGES 17-18)

The Senior Leaders Program offers a more advanced exploration of leadership concepts from Indian epics and the Bhagavad Gita, delving deeper into strategic thinking, ethical decision-making, and community engagement. Participants in this group take on greater responsibilities, including leading group projects and facilitating discussions, allowing them to hone their leadership abilities in real-world scenarios. The program places a stronger emphasis on the application of the Bhagavad Gita's teachings to contemporary challenges we face in our lives, preparing participants to lead with wisdom and integrity in their communities.
